Some of the beautiful, black women and creators in my life tagged❤️ WE ARE BLACK WOMEN...... we are beautiful, we are strong, we have worth, we build......we don’t tear down other BLACK WOMEN!!!! For years and years we have been neglected and mistreated for our magnificent skin. But now, we will acknowledge each other! We will uplift each other today! The fighting, the screaming, and the injustice is outdated. We are all the same, we are all important, we are all beautiful. It’s not our responsibility to meet your violence with peace. But still, we try. We kneel, we march, we sign petitions, we call for justice... You aren’t mad at the way we protest, you’re mad we’re protesting a system you benefit from. You’re scared that if things change, when you shoot a black person down without reason, you just might receive a consequence. To my brothers and sisters, I am hurting with you. To my white friends who have spoken up, I hear you. And to my white “friends” who have stayed silent, I hear you too. Because the bottom line is, I don’t want people in my life who can watch humans plead for their life on the ground, and not feel empathy.
