– sending out into the world what you wish to receive –
I have been hearing the term “Law of Attraction” for a while, but a couple of weeks ago I finally decided to find out what it means. After doing some research, I realized that the philosophy aligns with what I believe. I also decided to share what I learned because more people should know about the Law of Attraction and how it can benefit their life. Here is what I found:
The Law of Attraction is “the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts a person brings positive or negative experiences into their life”. The way I interpret that is “energy attracts energy”. The more positive vibes that we release to the world, the more positivity will come our way. The Law of Attraction also states that if we have a vague idea of our future, the universe can only deliver an incomplete future. We need to visualize our aspirations clearly in order to make them happen. The philosophy encourages cognitive reframing, or changing the brains pattern of thinking in a positive direction, in order to avoid self doubt. This will result in success in our careers, relationships, and health.
Imagine two yoga balls, one signifying negative thoughts and one signifying positive thoughts. It is hard, almost impossible, to hold both yoga balls at the same time. Eventually, you have to choose which you want to carry around. Half of being happy is choosing to be, after all, energy attracts energy. Focus your time and energy into specific goals, and achieve them later with gratitude.

Philippians 4:8 King James Version (KJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
